Event Safety Training courses are now available.
Safe Management at International Events
Safe Management at International Events is a two day course aimed at a broad range of delegates from crew supervisors working on the event floor up to event managers working either for the venue or the event organiser. The aim is to give the delegates basic training on how to look after their own safety and how to cooperate with the venue, the organiser and appointed health and safety officials in ensuring the safety of everyone else. This is augmented on the second day with an overview of their wider responsibilities relevant to their level and in particular how to conduct an event risk assessment in line with best practice guidance accepted by the leading event companies.

Safe Operations at International Events
Safe Operations at International Events is a one day course aimed at operatives working in the construction phases on the event floor such as carpet fitters, riggers, stand fitters, fork lift drivers, electricians and AV operatives. At the end of the day they should be aware of their own responsibilities and be able to spot and report hazards common to event work. It can be run as a standalone course or simply as day one of the Safe Management course. In this way clients can train large numbers of operatives and managers together with selected managers progressing to the second day to complete their training.
